DU admissions Helpline: As the admissions process at Delhi University begins, the students’ political wing, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, has released a list of helpline numbers for newcomers who encounter difficulties throughout the admissions process. This followed the introduction of a helpline number for students by the Congress-affiliated National Students’ Union of India, NSUI. This time, ABVP has issued college-specific hotline numbers, which means that students studying on North Campus can contact any of the 20-25 contacts, while students from other institutions can contact the respective coordinator of their college or that area.

Meanwhile, the RSS-affiliated student body has established a centralised helpline and Whatsapp lines for reporting all issues and difficulties. The centralised contact number for ABVP is 011-27662725, and the WhatsApp number is 9818459062. According to the student association, these numbers have been made operational for the students’ convenience. “Helpline Numbers for ABVP Delhi University Please contact us with any questions you may have; we will be pleased to assist you during the admissions process and beyond”, reads the statement.

The ABVP has established admissions support numbers in 71 DU colleges. The student wing mostly resolves issues for students at the collegiate level. The ABVP, on the other side, has advised students to approach them in the situation of a miscalculation of marks by college officials, a lack of concern, or a failure to approve candidature for admissions on time. Notably, the student group is also active on social media platforms, where it keeps in touch with students through regular posts and updates.
