Eligibility To Get  MBBS Admission  in India

Aspirants who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of NEET are eligible to take Direct MBBS Admission in India.

• Applicants who have completed 10+2 examinations with physics, chemistry, and biology with nearly 50% marks are eligible for getting admission into MBBS course via management quota.
• Candidates should not be less than 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
• So, if candidates belong to the General category, whether you are looking admission to private institute college doesn’t matter where the minimum cut-off is concerned.
• General category candidates need to score 50% marks.
• For another category such as SC, ST, and OBC, the cut-off will be 40%.

Process involved in Direct MBBS Admission

NEET Exam : Candidates who qualify the national level medical entrance examination by securing NEET cutoff 2021 are eligible for the NEET 2021 Counselling .

Online Counselling Registration: All the NEET Qualified students  need to register themselves by visiting the official website for  MCC Counselling or state counselling.

Note: While exercising the college options, you must check college fees structure . The fee will vary from one state authority to another. 

Fill Your Choice and College Locking: Then you need to select the MBBS /BDS course and choose your preferred colleges & Medical University and at last lock your choice as per the instruction.

NEET Counselling Results: The allotment will be granted on the basis of scores in NEET 2021 result, preferences of choices filled, seats available, reservation criteria, and other details.

Reporting to College: After the announcement of the NEET seat allotment result, candidates have to provide an option to accept or refuse the allotted seat. After that you have to  report to the institute or college within duration to get MBBS admission.

Second Round Registration: Applicants who didn’t register in the 1st round can also register for the 2nd round. After the 2nd Round NEET Counseling Result you have to follow same above process  to get admission in MBBS.

Mop-Up Round : Private Medical Colleges also permit direct MBBS admission 2021 on basis of NEET marks through Mop-up round.

DHGS will publish the seat matrix for the NEET UG Counselling  before the commencement of each round of counselling. The seat matrix will be released separately for MBBS, BDS, AIQ seats in Central University, Deemed University and seats offered in ESIC institutes.
