The Nagpur Metro Rail Project and the Pune Metro Rail Project are being implemented in Maharashtra by Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MAHA-Metro), a joint venture firm with equal involvement from the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra.

Educational Qualifications

• Station Controller/Train Operator/Train Controller-S1: Three-year Engineering diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/Mechanical from a government-approved board/university/institute.
• Section Engineer (Electrical)-S3: A four-year engineering degree in the electrical branch from a government-approved board, university, or institute is required.
• Section Engineer (IT)-S3: A four-year engineering degree in the IT/ Computer Engineering branch from a government-approved board, university, or institute is required.
