The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will recruit for 1586 posts of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) in Group A of Odisha Medical and Health Services Cadre under the Department of Health and Family Welfare. While issuing an official notice, the state government said that the recruitment is exclusively for SC and ST category candidates.

Eligibility for OPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2021
Qualification in Education: A Candidates must hold an M.B.B.S. degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognised by the Indian Medical Council. have a current registration certificate issued under the Odisha Medical Registration Act, 1961.

Age Restrictions for OPSC Medical Officers:

Candidates must be at least 21 (twenty-one) years old and not more than 37 (thirty-seven) years old as of January 1, 2021.
