Teacher Recruitment 2021: There is some good news for those who want to work as a teacher. According to sources in the media, the Uttar Pradesh government has made a major announcement that will assist individuals who want to become teachers but do not have a B.Ed. degree.

According to a recent statement by the Uttar Pradesh government, B.Ed. is no longer required for individuals applying for the position of Teacher of Grammar and Literature at the Uttar Madhyamik level in aided Sanskrit secondary schools.
However, following the instructions of the Allahabad High Court, Dr Mahendra Dev, Additional Education Director, Secondary Education Department, has reversed his decision.
The UP government has previously advertised for 1110 contractual teachers to work in 567 Sanskrit secondary schools. When seeking for a position as a Grammar and Literature teacher, a B.Ed. was required.
However, following the judgement of the Allahabad High Court, the additional education director stated that B.Ed. is now not mandatory for contractual teachers of Grammar and Literature at the Uttar Madhyamik level at aided Sanskrit secondary schools.
