TNPSC Direct Recruitment 2021:  The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has now released an advertisement for the position of Architectural Assistant / Planning Assistant in the Tamil Nadu City and Nation Planning Subordinate Service. On or before October 23, 2021, candidates can submit their applications via the web option. Candidates must first register their primary information via a one-time on-line registration system for a fee of Rs. 150/- (Rupees 100 and fifty only), after which they must apply for this position via the internet.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications: A Master of Town Planning or its equivalent OR Associate Membership of the Institute of Town Planners of India or the Institute of Architects of India OR A Degree in Civil Engineering OR A Degree in Architecture OR An A.M.I.E (Civil) (i.e., Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers (India) by any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission is required.

Age for TNPSC Direct Recruitment

Those with a Benchmark Disability: Persons with Benchmark Disability are entitled for an age reduction of up to ten years over the stipulated maximum age limit.

Ex-military personnel:

• Ex-servicemen have a maximum age limit of 50 years.
• Ex-servicemen applicants who have already been recruited to any class, service, or category will not be eligible for the above-mentioned age concession.
